luxury apartment, peyia, coral Bay

Transport

I recommend that you get a hire car from the airport, driving is easy in Cyprus as they drive on the same side of the road as the UK and it's a straight forward trip from the airport to Coral Bay; plus the cost of hiring a car from the airport, means you will pay little more than the transfer from the airport both ways. However for those who do not wish to hire a car Peyia village now has a great bus service, thanks to OSYPA bus company. This means that it’s easier to holiday in Peyia and simply hop on a bus if you want to go to the beaches in Coral Bay during the day, or catch the connecting bus from Coral Bay to Paphos Harbour and the Old Town.

The bus is number 616b and runs a circular route from St Georges to Peyia to Coral Bay, every hour throughout the summer months and four times a day during winter months; it looks like a mini bus.

In Peyia, the bus calls at:

Peyia Square (near the Mill pub)
Michalaki Kyprianou (the main road into Peyia from Coral Bay. Many stops on this road, from top to bottom, so you can hop on anywhere), including a bus stop opposite Haris Bar; 10 minutes walk from the apartment. The bus will take you to Coral Bay and the beaches at Coral Bay and Coralia.

The great thing is, now you can holiday more easily in our lovely village, hopping on the bus even just to do your shopping in Peyia Square then nipping back home poolside. Bliss!
